BANG BANG PIE

a little before thanksgiving, my friends at the collaboreat asked me to do a formal review of my favorite pie shop for their pie week, and i happily obliged! so on a recent day off, my sister claire and cousin alicia and i headed into the city to scout out some serious slices of pie.

located in the outskirts of wicker park, bang bang pie's line was out the door the entire time we were there. when it was our turn to order, we got two pies - lavender honey and pear ginger. one thing that i love about the folks at bang bang is that they work with local farmers and suppliers to bring you the best seasonal pies ever.
